At Cellcycle, we have recently been handling the disposal and recycling of lithium-ion battery modules from Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems as part of ongoing battery lifecycle management operations.
The batteries were received into our dedicated triage area, where they underwent initial quarantine and safety assessment procedures before any further handling could take place. Following inspection and controlled segregation, our High-Voltage Engineers carried out testing procedures to ensure the battery modules were electrically safe for dismantling and recycling processes.
